What we collect and how it is used
We collect anonymous data about your browsing via cookies and our analytics provider (Google Analytics) in order to analyze the efficiency of our pages and improve our services.
When creating a user account, we ask for your name and organization in order to address you properly in our communications, whether automated or human. This information is optional.
We require a username, email and password to create a user account. This information is necessary to provide you with a secure way to access and manage your software licenses.
We collect your email to subscribe you to our email newsletter, but only where explicitly labeled. Creating a user account does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.
We collect and retain data about your orders (such as purchased items, billing addresses, applicable taxes and promotions, etc.) in order to validate ownership of your software licenses and provide you with invoices upon request.
We do not collect or store any credit card or financial information on our servers. All our payment processing is handled securely via third party providers such as Stripe and PayPal.
Who has access to your data
We do not share your data with third parties unless explicitly specified.
We do not and will never sell your data to third parties.
When subscribing to our newsletter, your email address is registered with our third-party newsletter provider (Mailchimp).
When processing payments on our store, your data is entered directly on our payment providers' service (such as Stripe or Paypal).
Any invoice number your link to your Ludiq account may be used to query Unity Technologies via their Asset Store API to verify ownership of your software licenses.
User data access is only internally granted to Ludiq employees who need it to perform their duties.
We may be legally required to share your data with public authorities under certain circumstances. So far, this has not happened.
Deleting your data
You can delete your first name, last name, organization name, stored payment sources and addresses from your user account panel.
At your request, we will delete all personal user and store data we hold about you unless we are legally obligated to preserve it. In this case, we can disable your user account instead.
Security of your data
We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption and hashing on all our services. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be proven to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
